Another Year, Another Cúl Camp Comes to an End!
What a fantastic week it has been with 150 children enjoying five days of football, fun and friendship. The camp was supported by 27 coaches and 16 helpers, with 150 goodie bags kindly sponsored by Fresh Today, two pitches in constant use, over 100 footballs, a huge water fight and, for a change, glorious sunshine throughout the week.
A huge thank you goes to Jenny McTague and Head Coach Niamh Donohoe, who spent months planning and organising another hugely successful Cúl Camp. Their dedication behind the scenes ensured everything ran smoothly from start to finish.
It was also wonderful to see so many of our own young players volunteering as junior coaches and helpers. They are fantastic role models for our younger children and help create a strong connection between the different age groups within our club.
A sincere thank you to all of our coaches, helpers, parents and to Fresh Today for sponsoring the goodie bags. Most importantly, we hope all 150 children had a memorable week and we look forward to welcoming everyone back again next summer.

Our next 50/50 Draw takes place this Saturday evening in Prior’s, High Street.
With an expected jackpot of over €2,000, now is a great time to get your tickets and support the club. Every ticket purchased helps support Ballinamore Seán O’Heslin’s both on and off the field.

Sympathy – Seán McKeon
All at Ballinamore Seán O’Heslin’s GAA Club were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Seán McKeon, High Street.
Seán and the McKeon family have a long and proud association with our club spanning many years. Seán enjoyed great success as a member of our renowned Novelty Acts teams, helping the club to four All-Ireland Novelty Acts titles in 1994, 2001, 2002 and 2008.
His love for the club extended far beyond the stage. A passionate supporter of Ballinamore Seán O’Heslin’s, he instilled that same love in his family. Zoë, Dawn, Edel and Alma have all made enormous contributions through playing, coaching, managing, Mná Le Chéile, Cúl Camps, fundraising and countless club events. In recent years Seán took great pride in watching grandson Harry represent our senior team and Robbie line out at underage level.
We extend our deepest sympathies to his wife Sandie, daughters Zoë (David), Dawn, Edel (Dean) and Alma, his grandchildren Ciara, Harry, Robbie, Maisy and Elsie, his brother Tommy (Sheila), together with the extended McKeon family, neighbours and many friends.

Sympathy – Sheelah Kieran
All at Ballinamore Seán O’Heslin’s GAA Club were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Sheelah Kieran.
Sheelah and her late husband Dessie were great supporters of the club and took great pride in seeing their three sons, John, Paul and Mark, represent the club at senior level. The Kieran family have made an enormous contribution to our club over many decades and have always been closely associated with Ballinamore Seán O’Heslin’s.
We extend our deepest sympathies to her sons John, Paul and Mark, daughters-in-law Sarah, Ríona and Gabriella, brother Dermot, sisters-in-law June and Nuala, her cherished grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends at this very sad time.
May Sheelah Rest in Peace.
Sympathy – Mamie (Mary) Duignan
All at Ballinamore Seán O’Heslin’s GAA Club were saddened to hear of the passing of Mamie (Mary) Duignan (née Shanaghy).
We extend our sincere sympathies to her daughters Philomena, Anne, Pauline, Clare and Joan, and especially to Anne, John, Tara and John Conway, Ballinamore, together with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, neighbours and friends.
