1st Leitrim Scouts are now enrolling:   Cubs (age 8-11 years) and Scouts (age 12-15 years).    New and existing members are welcome.  We will be starting our program in October (days and times will vary), activities will include hiking, camping, kayaking, basic first aid, map reading & survival skills, treasure trails, games, guest speakers, educational visits and much more. Singing Together 

is a great way to build community, lift spirits and make friends. Sing Together with Sarah is an opportunity to do this. Everyone is welcome (over 12s - 1132!) and you don’t need to have ANY experience with singing. Session is facilitated by Sarah Garden, trained in inclusive group singing as well as a professional, qualified, self employed musician. We will sing songs from all around the world and in every genre. Monthly drop-ins start at the Island Theatre Community Hall, Ballinamore, Saturday 23rd September 11-12.30pm with refreshments afterwards. Pay as you can €5/€10/€15. KILMORE APOSTOLIC SOCIETY CENTENARY: an official display opens in the museum in Ballyjamesduff from Thurs Oct. 5th at 7 30pm and will remain on display throughout October. Celebratory event – Friday 24th Nov – All welcome for an evening of celebration and recognition of the achievements of the ‘Better Together – Níos Fearr Le Chéile Peace Impact Programme 2022 – 2024’ A celebratory evening in tribute to the accomplishments and achievements realised by the project and it’s participants over the past 2 years. The evening will be an insightful experience, showcasing the journeys, efforts and contributions from all involved.
