MOTHER TERESA RELIC AND SPEAKING EVENT – 

the Kilmore Diocesan Pastoral Centre, Cavan H12 E5C7: On Wednesday 19th July, author Jim Towey, trusted advisor and devoted friend of Mother Teresa, will share stories of her mission, life, and connection with Ireland at a speaking event in the Diocesan Pastoral Centre's Drumlane Room from 7p.m. to 8:30p.m. With a book-signing opportunity beforehand from 6:30p.m. A sacred relic of Saint Teresa of Calcutta will be displayed for veneration in The Conaty Chapel on the same day from 2 pm until 9pm approximately when a blessing with the relic will be imparted.  Mass will be celebrated at 3 pm and 6 pm   Petitions or Offerings may be sent to the Kilmore Diocesan Pastoral Centre, The Conaty Centre, Cullies, Cavan H12 E5C7.  All petitions received will be placed beside the relic during its visit.  Please write “Petitions” on the top left hand corner of the envelope.  For further information, please contact 086 0400 688 or the Diocesan Pastoral Centre on 049 437 5004.

NORTH WEST STEM FEST: 31st July to Aug 4th, the creative experience in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths for teens takes place in the Island Theatre, Ballinamore. It's a great opportunity for teens to enjoy company with friends in a safe, fun and educational environment. Tonnes of activities planned including The Duckie Bungee and Juggling quadratic equations. DIOCESAN PILGRIMAGE TO KNOCK takes place on Wed. 9th August 2023, the Feast of St Felim, the Patron Saint of the Kilmore Diocese. Ceremonies begin at 2pm with the outdoor Stations of the Cross and Rosary Procession. The 

Celebration of Mass and the Anointing of the Sick will take place at 3pm. Bishop Martin Hayes will be the Main Celebrant. A special invitation is extended to all families from across the diocese.

 

BELFAST TO KNOCK PEACE WALKERS: We are now just a few of weeks away from having our friends from Belfast pass through our town as they walk to Knock over five days on their Peace Pilgrimage. Over the years the parish has always opened their hearts and homes to the walkers and have been most generous and supportive to those walking the pilgrimage, Mass will be on Thursday 20th July at 7:30pm. All parishioners are welcome to come and experience the Mass, the music and the liturgy that the Cursillio members bring to their celebrations.
