Please see attached for our promotional flyer for the ‘Exploring Social Enterprise Programme we are running in May/June 2023. A few things to note:
Programme starts on Thursday 11th May in Lisnaskea (Share Discovery Village -Shanaghy Room) From 7.30pm – 9pm *Transport from Ballinamore will be provided, and will leave from the Den at 6.50pm sharp.
We plan to run this over 4 consecutive weeks (2 workshops in Lisnaskea and 2 in Ballinamore) – beginning Thurs 11 May – Thurs 1st June, if a group member can’t make them all, they are welcome to send another member in their place, as previously discussed and agreed, this might be a sensible option, to share the workload and time commitment.
We have organised a ‘Good practice visit’ to Creggan Enterprises, Derry for Saturday 13th May from 10am – 2.30pm approx.. with food & transport provided.. There is also a guided tour of the wall and peace bridge after the GPV. Final details, for example pickup times and itinerary will be provided next week.
This is an excellent opportunity to see first-hand how a successful Social Enterprise operates, meet the people involved, and share ideas and network with the groups in East Fermanagh (all part of building partnerships for future funding! Including PeacePlus)
To sign up, or if you have any further questions, please give me a call, text or email reply,
Any member of any group is welcome to attend, so it is important that you share this information within your committee. Many Social Enterprises could be started e.g. Men's Shed; Community Gardens; any group which has the ability to create an income and reinvest it back into its venture. This training will also be useful to anybody who may be thinking of starting their own business.
All those who participate are welcome to join the trip to Derry BUT WE NEED NUMBERS urgently to decide on size of bus etc. SO Please reply to Michael
