Ballinamore Club Notes

Gaelic4Girls

Ballinamore Sean O’Heslins are delighted to host the Gaelic4Girls programme. It is a fun 10-week programme designed to encourage girls to either start playing for the first time, return to playing or to develop existing player's skills. The aim is to increase the number of girls playing Gaelic football and promote the social benefits of playing with friends. It is open to girls born 2015-2011. Start date is Monday 6th March 6-7pm. There will be an information/registration meeting for parents on Monday 20th Feb at 6pm in SOH clubrooms. Please contact Jenny 0872958837 or Michelle 0872977687 with any queries

Schools Final

Hard luck to the Ballinamore Community school lads who played in the Senior C Connacht Final against  Dunmore CS on Saturday, the lads have done exceptionally well to get this far  and will be disappointed with the result, getting to the final certainly shows that there is a lot of talent in the area which should be good for the local clubs in the future

Sympathy

All at the club would like to extend our deepest sympathy to the family and friends of the late Ronan Moran. Ronan’s passing is a great loss to his community and the wider community in Leitrim. We ask all our members to please keep Ronan and his family in your thoughts and prayers at this difficult time

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.

Memorial Service

There will be memorial service for the late Steve Ralph on Saturday the 18th of February at 2pm in Ballinamore church. An opportunity for people to pay their respects to Steve and his family here in Ireland after his sad passing in New York in January.

Leitrim GAA

Hard luck to the Leitrim u20 team who were in action on Saturday against Fermanagh unfortunately the lads lost in a tight game.  We were well represented with Michaèl McKiernan captain and Paul Moran in action. Best of luck to the lads in the next game against Longford on Saturday in Carrick at 13:00

Best of luck to the senior team and management for this weekends Match against Wexford, we will have Tom Prior and Darren Maxwell representing the club, hopefully them and Leitrim can continue in their fine form
