Bealtaine Festival Illustrated Talk in Ballinamore Library

On Tuesday 31 st May at 6pm as part of Bealtaine Festival, Siobhan Cox-Carlos
will give an illustrated talk in Ballinamore Library on her recent Art Exhibition
“The Secret Garden” which gets its name from the book of the same name
much loved by the artist as a young child. The theme of the exhibition and talk
looks at how we can create our own “Secret Garden” when living through a
trauma like the Covid Pandemic. Siobhan tells how she gained inspiration for
her paintings through walking, talking, painting, dancing, cooking, sewing and
meditating over the past two years.
Siobhan is a visual artist based in her native Strokestown and her work has
been exhibited in Ireland and internationally.
