Underage finals

A busy weekend of matches coming up for our underage players. First up will be the MacDiarmada Gaels under 15 boys on Saturday at 11 am as they take on St Mary’s in the Division one championship final in Pairc Sean. Our under 16 Ballinamore girls will also be in action in their county final on the same day, more details to follow.

Condolences

All at the club would like to extend their sympathy to the Donohoe family on the passing of Mickey (Michael) Donohoe (RIP). Deepest condolences to all his friends and family at this difficult time.

MacDiarmada Gaels

Our u13 lads played Glencar Manor in the Division one semi final on Saturday. The lads put in a determined display but were beaten by a very good Glencar Manor team. The lads have worked very hard all season and have played some great football. We would like to thank the lads for their hard work and effort this year. Special thanks to all the u13 coaches Shane, Pat, Diarmaid, Adrian and Gerry they have been brilliant with the kids and have given up a serious amount of time to help the young players.

Underage Training and Nursery

Well done to all our u9 players who were in action against Allen Gaels in a Go Games match on Saturday morning. It was a great experience for the boys and girls, and they had a great morning. Special thanks to Allen Gaels for hosting and all the mentors and parents from both clubs for making it possible.

Well done to our u11 boys and girls who were in action away to Drumkeerin on Saturday. They played some excellent football and were a credit to the club. Special thanks to Drumkeerin for hosting the match. Special thanks also to Megan, Niamh and Roisin for training our underage girls these last few weeks, it’s great to have three senior players helping the young players .
