Connacht Gold Senior Championship

Best of luck to the senior lads who are in action on Sunday against Glencar Manor the game will be played behind closed doors at 16:30. We hope that the game will be  streamed by Leitrim GAA from their new site https://www.leitrimgaa.ie/live/Please ensure that you register and set up beforehand as there is a charge. If the match is not streamed we will stream the game on our Facebook page. 

 

Ladies Senior Championships

Our ladies team continued their excellent form on Sunday defeating St Francis by a score of 2:24 to 2:08 the victory leaves the girls top of the table on 9 points a point ahead of St Joesphes. It was a great game and it is still available to view on our Facebook page.

 

Condolences

It is with deep sadness that we learn of the passing of Margaret McKeon who sadly passed away on Monday. Mrs McKeon was a wonderful supporter of the club and of our lotto over the years and will be missed by everyone that knew her. We would like to pass on our deepest sympathies to her son Padraig, Daughters Mary and Mona, all her grandchildren, great grandchildren, sons and daughter in laws and all her friends and family at this difficult time. We ask all our supporters to please keep Margaret and her family in your thoughts and prayers. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.

 

Underage Training and Nursery 

Our nursery and under age training will continue under the new guidelines which allow one parent to be in attendance during the games and training, if any more parents would like to get involved with assisting please let the coaches know. If any parents have any queries about their children joining please call Michael on 086 3906791 or Jenny on 087 2958837.

Our u11 training is now going ahead every Monday at 18:30 in the pairc and will continue to do so under the new guidelines.

Special thanks to the u11 Garadice Gaels team and their mentors who played our u11’s in a very competitive match on Monday evening. There was some play from both teams and it was great to get the game played.  

We also hope to set up a girls u12 team, if you are interested in joining please come to training on Monday nights at 18:30.

 

Underage Girls

Best of luck to our under 14 girls who will be playing Fenagh in the final on the 1st of September, more details on the time to follow. We do hope to stream the match live on our Facebook page.

 

MacDiarmada Gael

Hard luck to our u13 boys who were beaten by Glencar Manor on Friday night, the lads will be back in action Friday week against Annaduff in Ballinamore at 19:00.

Our under 17’s conceded their game against Allen Gaels on Monday night so have completed their season. Thanks to all the players and coaches for their commitment this season.

Our under 15’s will be next in action on Monday the 7th against Mohill at 18:30.

 

Membership for 2020

Club membership is now open for the 2020 season. The Price for this season is €50 for adult members, €30 for Children and €100 for Family membership (Family membership constitutes a maximum of two adults and any number of children u17). Membership of the Gym for non-Playing members will be €100 for the year. To pay your membership you can please contact Walter on 086 1236207 or Shane on 087 7985069.
