Club Championship

It’s been a long wait for a start to a senior championship with the challenges of Covid
virus and I am sure many of you will be looking forward to the resumption of football
and thankfully we will see a return to the new normal this Saturday in Mohill at 1900
with a great opening fixture promised. We would like to wish the players and all the
coaches the best of luck for the championship

MacDiarmada Gaels

Our u13, u15 and u17 teams have been working hard over the last couple of weeks
preparing for the return of competitive football and have taken part in a couple of
challenges. Hopefully this will be good preparation for the start of this season’s
games. We would like to wish our u15 boys all the best in their first match in
Ballinamore at 1830 against St Marys and likewise the same good wishes to the u17’s
and u13’s who are in action as well with The U17 starting on Monday the 20 th with a
game at home to Mohill at 1900 and Our u13 lads will be away to St Brigids on the
Monday also at 1900.

Underage Sponsorship

Special thanks to Jackie, Michael, Kathryn and Jenny McTague for their kind and
very generous sponsorship of much needed equipment for our younger players.
They provided a set of Goals, Mini goals and 20 footballs for our u9 and nursery
team’s and provided 10 footballs, cones and equipment for our u11 mixed team as
well. It was fantastic to receive this much needed equipment and we appreciate the
kind sponsorship at a difficult time for local businesses, we would like wish Jackie
and Kathryn all the best with the reopening of their pub on the 20th

Our U9 and Nursery will return on Saturday at 1000 am please ensure to complete
covid training and health questionnaire before attending.

Our u11 team will be training on Mondays at 1830, again please ensure to complete
all training modules before attending

Membership for 2020

Club membership is now open for the 2020 season. The Price for this season is €50
for adult members, €30 for Children and €100 for Family membership (Family
membership constitutes a maximum of two adults and any number of children u17).
Membership of the Gym for non-Playing members will be €100 for the year.
