Fenagh Defibrillator Committee

Would like to thank Fenagh Drama Troupe for performing their wonderful play The Maiden Aunt in aid of Fenagh Defibrillators. For all who came out on the night and who gave donations towards our fundraising, a big Thank You. It’s a community like ours that makes it possible for our organisation to exist. Fenagh Gaelic for Mothers & Others needs you!

If you are over 18 years, under 105 years and not registered with a LGA team this could be for you! Come and join us on a Saturday morning at 11am at Fenagh/St Caillin’s football pitch, no previous football experience necessary. This is a fun way to get some exercise, pick up some football skills, make new friends and have a laugh along the way. Fenagh Community Playgroup

Fenagh Community Playgroup is now enrolling for September 2018. Children who are born between 1st January 2014 to 31st December 2015 are eligible to avail of the FREE pre-school year. There is now only one entry point to the FREE pre-school year which is in September. There is no longer the option to enrol your child during the school year. Fenagh Visitor Centre

Fenagh Visitor Centre is open all year round – (Heritage Centre, Indoor Children’s Play Area, Dolmen Café, Hall rental/meeting space). Opening hours: Mon-Fri 10am-5.30pm and Sat & Sun 12-5.30pm (last admission to playarea for one hour play is 4.30pm). Free internet access (Wi-Fi), local newspapers and tourist information available to all visitors. Follow us on Facebook ‘fenaghvisitorcentre’. Also visit our website at www.fenagh.com which features lots of information on historical Fenagh, upcoming classes and events, Monk’s Den playtime and birthday rates, and other facilities on offer. Fitness  Classes

Fitness with Julie continues Mondays at 8pm. Yoga with Deniese resumes June 7th (two week break) – classes suitable for all levels. Venue: Visitor Centre.

 

Art for Adults

Art classes (oil and acrylics) with Noreen Gaffney continues on Wednesday evenings 7-9pm at Fenagh Visitor Centre. 

 

Baby & Toddler Group

Every Friday morning from 10am-12pm at the Visitor Centre. Ideal for babies and preschool children, all welcome, no need to sign up just come along any Friday morning.

 

Fenagh Community Centre

Volunteers Ballinamore Credit Union

As our Credit Union relies considerably on the enthusiasm, commitment and integrity of its volunteers, we are currently looking for people who would be interested in volunteering for a few hours per month. The Benefits of Credit Union volunteering include: gaining skills and experience in a professional financial service provider. Availing of training both hands on and at seminars. The Annual 5K / 10K May Walk Run or Roll

In aid of Cancer Research and North West Hospice will take place in Aughnasheelin on Sunday May 20th 2018 commencing at 1 p.m. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

 

Agricultural Science

Want to study Ag Science as an extra subject? Want to improve your Ag Science Grade? Weekly classes in Leitrim area, starting next September,  from experienced teachers who have many year's experience correcting exam papers and monitoring projects. Let’s talk about your rivers and lakes in the Erne Catchment. Come along and chat about your fond river memories, share with us your love of rivers and help develop a vision for their future. Let’s identify actions to achieve a community river plan so we can work together to ensure the preservation and enhancement of our shared local waterways. This is a free event with all welcome.

 

Planning for a Colorful Summer in your Garden

An illustrated talk given by Gail from the “Four Seasons Garden Centre” will take place in Ballinamore Library on Thursday 31st May at 5pm. Come along get ideas for summer planting which will add colour to your garden. Gail will also be happy to answer any of your gardening queries. Admission free. All welcome.

 

Dawns Art Camp

Every child can be an Artist… and Art is adventure that never ends… so I hope to see you at Dawn’s art camp from the Wed 27th to Fri 29th of June… staring from incoming  1st class (age 7) to 6th class lots of colour, mess and fun to start your summer off on the right foot... there will be a junior and senior camp and this may vary depending on numbers… for more information please give Dawn a buzz on 0863115647...
