Kellogg’s Cul Camp

Folks please note the Kellogg’s Cul camp Ballinamore 2018 will be held in the Pairc from the 2nd to the 6th of July. Booking is essential and can be done on the Cul camp website or follow the link on our Facebook page.

Bawnboy Heritage are holding a number of fundraising concerts in the Ardhowen Theatre Enniskillen this summer. Ballinamore Childcare CLG

Will hold an AGM and EGM in the former Technical School on Tuesday 22nd May at 8.30pm. We seek new members to join the board and nominations must be received by Friday 18th. If you are interested in Irish music, song and dance then come along and enjoy all that the Fleadh has to offer. Kilmore Diocese will have a Diocesan Day at the WMOF on Thursday August 23rd. People from the Diocese who wish to attend  the WMOF might consider travelling on that Day. The cost of  1 Day Adult Ticket is €38 , this will also guarantee You a ticket for the Closing Mass  with Pope Francis in the Phoenix Park on Sunday 26th of August .Children’s tickets are free. Family Day: The weekend  Masses on the 9th /10th of June will have a special emphasis on celebrating Family with a general blessing of families.   Later that day in the afternoon there will be a pilgrimage to a mass rock or holy well. More details to follow.

Wear a Sunflower for North West Hospice: Sunflower Days in aid of North West Hospice take place from 8th-9th June. Sunflowrs and pins will be available to buy from North West Hospice volunteers all over the North West and your support would be greatly appreciated. Would you like to be part of the choir for the Papal Mass in the Phoenix Park on Sunday 26 August 2018? - The Diocese of Kilmore has been allocated 74 places in the choir that will lead the congregational singing during the Mass with Pope Francis in August 23 sopranos, 23 altos, 14 tenors and 14 bass from across the diocese are required. All prospective choir members must be aged 18 years+ and will be subject to Garda Vetting as part of the registration process.  There is nothing to stop choirs travelling to the Phoenix Park as part of a parish pilgrimage and singing from their assigned places in the designated sections.  As many of the 74 choir members as possible will also be asked to join the choir for the 4:30p.m. Mass in Dublin’s RDS on Thursday 23 August during the World Meeting of Families Pastoral Congress which coincides with the Kilmore Diocesan Day at the Pastoral Congress.   The closing date for receipt of applications is 12 noon on Friday 18 May 2018.  To register interest or for more information, please contact Seán Coll in the Diocesan Pastoral Centre by telephoning 049 4375004 or by email to pastoralcentre@kilmorediocese.ie

You are warmly invited by Ballinamore Parish Pastoral Council and community to join with us for a Padre Pio Healing Mass in Saint Patrick's Church, Ballinamore, Co. Leitrim on FRIDAY 25th May at 7.00pm.

The Celebrant will be Fr. Sean Kelly,OFM  Capuchin Priest from Kilkenny and a native of Ballinamore.

There will be a number Capuchin Friars present with Relics of St. Pio for individual blessings after the Mass and confessions will be available throughout the evening.

Many healings have been attributed to the intercession of Saint Pio and large crowds always attend the healing Masses dedicated to his life.

Blessings will take place after Mass with the relics of Saint Pio, i.e. his mittens that he wore to cover the wounds of the stigmata which he had for 50 years.  Everyone Welcome.


There will be an all night vigil for life in St. Patricks Church Ballinamore, this Friday 18th May, beginning with adoration at 8pm on the Friday and ending with Mass at 8am Saturday morning. Please come along and join us in prayer for the protection of the life of the unborn. The intention is for the protection of the unborn and the retention of the 8th amendment. All welcome .
