Fenagh Visitor Centre

Fenagh Visitor Centre is open all year round – (Heritage Centre, Indoor Children’s Play Area, Dolmen Café, Hall rental/meeting space). Opening hours: Mon-Fri 10am-5.30pm and Sat & Sun 12-5.30pm (last admission to playarea for one hour play is 4.30pm). Free internet access (Wi-Fi), local newspapers and tourist information available to all visitors. Follow us on Facebook ‘fenaghvisitorcentre’. Fitness  Classes

Fitness with Julie continues Mondays at 8pm. Yoga with Deniese Thursdays 7pm – classes suitable for all levels. Venue: Visitor Centre.

 

Art for Adults

Art classes (oil and acrylics) with Noreen Gaffney continues on Wednesday evenings 7-9pm at Fenagh Visitor Centre. 

 

Baby & Toddler Group

Every Friday morning from 10am-12pm at the Visitor Centre. Ideal for babies and preschool children, all welcome, no need to sign up just come along any Friday morning.

 

Fenagh Community Centre

Acorn Players

The Mohill based Acorn Players will perform John McManus’s new play Loophole in Ballinamore Hall on Friday next 11 at 8.30 pm. This unique 3 Act comedy is getting great reviews from Mohill, Aughavas and Gorvagh, so don’t miss it. It is very funny.

 

Darkness into Light

May 12th Ballinamore Community School will host their first Darkness into Light 5k Walk, in aid of Pieta House.This event will begin at 4.15am, in darkness, as people walk the 5km route around Ballinamore and finish as the dawn is breaking. Volunteers Ballinamore Credit Union

As our Credit Union relies considerably on the enthusiasm, commitment and integrity of its volunteers, we are currently looking for people who would be interested in volunteering for a few hours per month. The Benefits of Credit Union volunteering include: gaining skills and experience in a professional financial service provider. Availing of training both hands on and at seminars.

MAD 2018! 

Music and Dance Summer Camp will take place in Ballinamore from July 9th-13th for girls and boys aged 5-12. Instruction will take place in a wide range of music and dance genres culminating with a concert on Friday to exhibit to family and friends the weeks work! Monday to Friday 10.00 – 1.30 each day. VOLUNTEERS WANTED!

Connaught Fleadh (Ballinamore) July 7th and 8th. If you are interested in Irish music, song and dance then come along and  enjoy all that the Fleadh has to offer.  We are looking for volunteers for such jobs as car parking attendants, competition door attendants, tea/coffee servers, runners.

PADRE PIO HEALING MASS

You are warmly invited by Ballinamore Parish Pastoral Council and community to join with us for a Padre Pio Healing Mass in Saint Patrick’s Church, Ballinamore, Co. Leitrim on FRIDAY 25th May at 7.00pm. The Celebrant will be Fr. Sean Kelly,OFM Capuchin Priest from Kilkenny and a native of Ballinamore. There will be a number Capuchin Friars present with Relics of St. Pio for individual blessings after the Mass and confessions will be available throughout the evening. Many healings have been attributed to the intercession of Saint Pio and large crowds always attend the healing Masses dedicated to his life. Blessings will take place after Mass with the relics of Saint Pio, i.e. his mittens that he wore to cover the wounds of the stigmata which he had for 50 years. Everyone welcome.
