Recent Deaths: we pray for the souls of Martin (Marty) Hynes, Chicago who died last week and Anne Jan Corby (nee Donegan) Newtowngore whose funeral took place on Thursday (mother of Eileen McTague & Geraldine Maxwell).  Our sympathy to their families.

You are warmly invited by Ballinamore Parish Pastoral Council and community to join with us for a Padre Pio Healing Mass in Saint Patrick's Church, Ballinamore, Co. Leitrim on FRIDAY 25th May at 7.00pm. The Celebrant will be Fr. Sean Kelly, OFM  Capuchin Priest from Kilkenny and a native of Ballinamore. There will be a number Capuchin Friars present with Relics of St. Pio for individual blessings after the Mass and confessions will be available throughout the evening. Many healings have been attributed to the intercession of Saint Pio and large crowds always attend the healing Masses dedicated to his life. Blessings will take place after Mass with the relics of Saint Pio, i.e. his mittens that he wore to cover the wounds of the stigmata which he had for 50 years. Everyone Welcome.

Darkness into Light

Hotel & Catering Course:

COMMUNITY GAMES NEWS

Ballinamore Area community games is well up and running for 2018 and the hard working committee already have several county titles won! The next area meeting is to plan for the next round of team events, this includes U10 mixed GAA, U-12 Girls GAA and U14 Girls GAA, Outdoor Soccer U12 & U15 and Futsal U13 & U15. Coaches from all areas need to attend this meeting to ensure teams are entered from the area at the forthcoming county meeting. These competitions will be run off in the coming weeks.
