The Winter/Spring League continues this Thursday night April 5th in Fenagh Community Centre at 8.30pm with nightly prizes and jackpots. Entry  €8 with refreshments served. All new players welcome. Proceeds in aid of Fenagh Handball Club. Last week’s winners were Kevin Foley 6 games and Doc Healy 5 games after a play off.

 

Clothes Collection

The clothes collection in St. Caillin’s N.S. has been postponed until the end of April, more information available after Easter.

 

Fenagh Visitor Centre

Fenagh Visitor Centre is open all year round – (Heritage Centre, Indoor Children’s Play Area, Dolmen Café, Hall rental/meeting space). Opening hours: Mon-Fri 10am-5.30pm and Sat & Sun 12-5.30pm (last admission to play area 4.30pm). Free internet access (Wi-Fi), local newspapers and tourist information available to all visitors. Easter Workshop for kids

A Bear Essentials Build-an-Easter Bear Workshop will take place at Fenagh Visitor Centre this Friday April 6th from 11am-1pm – BOOKING ESSENTIAL. Children will make their own teddy bear/easter bear. Also included in price is a half hour free play in the indoor playarea & light refreshments. Children under 6 must be accompanied by an adult. 30 euro per child. Main hall will be closed to the public until 1.30pm.

Ballinamore Library News

Booking are now being taken for the Basic Computer Course starting in Ballinamore Library on Friday 6th April at 3pm. The course is free and will run weekly for five weeks. Booking is essential on 071 9645566. Knitting/ Crochet Group meets every Tuesday morning at 11. New members always welcome. Spanish Classes for beginners continue on Thursdays 6.30 to 7.30pm. All welcome. Kiddies Movie time each Saturday at 2.30pm.  Details of weekly movie available from the library.

 

Darkness into Light

On May 12th Ballinamore Community School will host their first Darkness into Light 5k Walk, in aid of Pieta House. This event will begin at 4.15am, in darkness, as people walk the 5km route around Ballinamore and finish as the dawn is breaking, journeying together from Darkness Into Light. Quiz Night

The Leitrim Irish Draught Horse Breeders are holding  a Quiz on friday April 6th at 9pm in Casey’s Bar Mohill. Lots of spot prizes and food.

 

North West Vintage & Heritage Club

Are holding an Autojumble/Car Boot Sale on 8th April in the Bee Park, Manorhamilton from 11am – 4pm. Tables/stalls are €10 each, all proceeds to Cancer Care West & MS Therapy Centre, Sligo.
