will take place in Aughnasheelin & Corraleehan on Wednesday morning and Ballinamore Rural Area on Wednesday afternoon. Aughawillan on Thursday morning and Ballinamore Friday morning.  

 

Recent Deaths:

We pray for the soul of Kathleen McGovern, Dún na Bó whose funeral took place on Wednesday. Our sympathy to her family.  

 

Strictly Come Dancing (Sean O’Heslins):

 

What an excellent night @Priors Ballinamore as the club introduced our dancers to a packed crowd. If the launch night was anything to go by the main event which is in the Slieve Russell on the 18th of November 7:30pm is one not to be missed. Tickets are €20 each for what  promises to be an entertaining night and includes entry into  draw on the night for €3000. Tickets can be bought directly from the dancers.  

 

Ballinamore Farmers Market

 

is held every Friday from 11am to 3pm at the Old Courthouse, opposite St. Patrick's Church. Come along and visit the stalls of local producers, selling fresh vegetables, free range eggs, sourdough bread, goat's cheese, fruits, plants, cakes, jams and books ...and more to come!  For stall enquiries call Jonathan on 085 175 4957 

 

Ballinamore Parent and Toddler Group: 

There will be no group this Wednesday due to the Halloween break. 

 

Blood Donation Clinic

On 1st November 1884 the GAA was founded, in 1894 a vaccine for diphtheria was announced, If you haven't ever given blood why not make 1st November 2017 an historical day for you - the day you gave your first pint of blood - the day you saved a life.

Our last blood donation clinic was another large one. 146 attended which is a fantastic reflection of Ballinamore and the surrounding areas community spirit. The Clinic returns again to Ballinamore on Wednesday 1st November 2017 to the Community Hall from 3pm-5pm and 7pm-9.30pm. Come along if you can and Please spread the word.

 

Ballinamore Women's Group

A meeting of Ballinamore womens group takes place on Wedensday 1st November at 8pm. Arrangements and booking for the Christmas dinner to be held on Saturday 2nd December will be made at the meeting. All members are asked to attend.

 

Cavan Feis a great success

 

The Mc Cartin SD had a local outing recently when they hosted Feis Rince Breffni in the Cavan Crystal Hotel, Cavan Town. The feis attracted an array of competitors with over 13 hours of competitions!

Church of Ireland Church Street, Ballinamore, Sunday Service is at 12.15pm every Sunday except on the 4th Sunday which is held in Drumreilly Church, Drumreilly


Sports Complex/Den to Rent:


Persons wishing to rent the Sports Complex or The Den (next Door) should call Damien on 087 252 9144.  The rents are for The Complex, single use €30 per hour, for block use (6 or more weeks) €25 per hour.  The Den €20 per/hour. The Den may also be booked for small or large meetings.
