15 October 2017

Congratulation to Aughnasheelin on their great win!!

The AGM of Ballinamore Darts was held last Wednesday night the 4th of October in Smyth’s Bar.  Before the meeting started a minute silence was observed for everyone who had bereavements during the year.  The election of officers took place, not too many changes, there more or less the same as last year.  The format for this year’s league is changed slightly, there is still (9) legs of darts but is now (7) single and two doubles instead of (9) singles.  All teams must have at least (7) players otherwise they concede the doubles.  This year we have seven teams competing for honours, we welcome back Quinn’s from Fenagh, and Simon from Drumcoura for the 2017 – 2018 season.  The League starts on Friday night the 13th of October, the draw was made, first named teams have home venue:
McGirl’s V Drumcoura – Quinn’s V Bank Bar –Commercial V Poor Scholar.  Jackie’s have a bye.  Games start at 10pm sharp.  Good luck to all teams!
