Whist Drive – In Aid of North West Hospice

Calling all Card Players!!!
The monthly whist drive in Ballinamore Community Centre takes place on Thursday 6th July at 9pm, all proceeds are going to the North West Hospice.   We are calling on all card players to please come along and support this worthy cause.  There will be a great selection of wonderful prizes, including hampers, voucher’s and much more, tea and refreshments at half time.  So why not come along, bring a friend and enjoy a good night while supporting the North West Hospice.  All Welcome.

Ballinamore Women’s Group

A weekend trip to Galway staying in Flanner’s hotel 13th to15th October is been organized by Ballinamore women’s group.

Total cost is 270 euro which includes transport, meals and trips .A deposit of eighty euro must be paid by August1st to book a place and the balance paid on or before 1st September.  Enquiries to 0876327950

Please consider donating blood

The Blood Transfusion mobile unit team will return again to the Community Centre in Ballinamore this Wednesday 28th June 2017.

The times are from 3.00pm - 5.00pm and 7.00pm - 9.30pm.  1 in 4 people will need a blood transfusion at some point in their lives, however, only 3% of the population give blood.  Every new donor, every new donation saves lives."

Thanks to everyone who attended the last clinic in February.  We had just over 100 attended.  See you on Wednesday 28th June and please encourage someone to come with you. 

The annual Rally for life

will take place on Saturday 1st July in Dublin city centre. Buses will travel from Leitrim leaving Manorhamilton at 7.30am,  Carrick on Shannon at 8.30am and Mohill at 9am. Stopping at apple greens for a break on journey there and on the way home. This is always an most enjoyable and fun event for all ages. Strictly Come Dancing!!!!! 

It’s with great excitement that we announce our latest club event – Strictly come dancing Ballinamore Style! In what promises to be a night of unrivalled Ceol agus Craic you will get to view some of Ballinamore’s finest strutting their stuff on stage for your amusement and delight. The night will be held in the Slieve Russell Hotel on the 18th of November and more details will follow in the coming weeks including a list of our intrepid dancers - so please watch this space and our Facebook page for more details
