Padre Pio Mass.

A huge thank you to St Brigid's Pastoral Area & Oughteragh/ Lwr Drumreilly Pastoral Council for all the organising of the Padre Pio Healing Mass last night in honour of St Pio's birthday. This was reflected in the largest crowd seen in Ballinamore Church for many years. Also to Fr's Sean Mawn and Johnny Cusack for hosting this event.  It was wonderful to see so many people from all over Ireland coming to witness their faith in the intercession of Saint Pio for themselves or for family members and friends who need healing for various illnesses. For those who say that the faith in Ireland is dead they should have been in Ballinamore last night.

For all who assisted in any way through stewarding, ministers of the Word & Eucharist, and assisting Priests we say a big thank you. Also thanks to the beautiful singing of the Anna Martin Memorial Choir led by Breege Megahey. A special word of thanks to Pattie McIntyre of The Apostolic Society, also to The Commercial Hotel for their premises for the teas & refreshments & to Mary Corby & her team who catered for everyone. And not forgetting the unmatchable welcome and hospitality of the people of Ballinamore for the care and attention shown to all the Capuchins and visitors present at the Mass. Sincerely  Fr. Sean Kelly OFM CAP.
