St Patrick’s Day Parade

What can I say... myself and David agree, what an unbelievable turnout on the wettest St Patrick's Day in a long time..From Spectators to floats and many on foot..From young and old local and ..Surrounding areas..Well done to you all..Thank you to Kiltubrit Pipe Band... and St Patrick .(Ray O’Connor) thank you so much to all those who help set up and do a lot of running on the day. To all the Stewart's and judges.. To the Garda, to our sponsors, all the musicians .Ballinamore Comhaltas Group and Alan Wrynne..Congrats to all the winners.. Michelle assorted Fitness, Ballinamore Child Group, The men's Shed and Ballinamore community arts and crafts group, and finally Super Valu. It's so good to be part of this small town well done to you all and those in surrounding areas..Thank you

Serious Teen Fitness

Starts Friday 24th in Ballinamore Hall at 8.45pm (beside Supervalu). Suitable for ages 13-18. Contact Paul 0838029692 for more details. Same as an adults’ fitness class. Boxercise, weight circuits, bodyweight exercises and core strengthening. Fun warm up but serious work after that.

Ballinamore Parent & Toddler

Situated in Ballinamore Library (our new venue!) Volunteer Befriending Project

(operated by Leitrim Development Company) – This is a very successful project that has been in operation in South Leitrim for three years, whereby a volunteer is matched with an older person, who is experiencing loneliness and isolation, to visit for an hour per week for a chat. We currently need new volunteers in the Ballinamore area, so if you enjoy talking and meeting new people and have some free time then this is for you. Volunteers are Garda Vetted and trained and matched with a suitable person in their area.  “Moll” In Fenagh

On Sunday night 9th April at 8.30pm 'The Sliabh an Iarainn Players '  in association with  Castlefore Development Fenagh will stage their very successful play 'Moll'  in the Community Centre in Fenagh. 'Moll' is regarded as John B. Keane's most comical play and has given past  audiences a great nights entertainment with loads of laughs. It is a great testament to any production that some people came twice and three times to see it such was their enjoyment. The great reviews received and the demand from a large number of people convinced the group to stage it again. The very talented cast come from Leitrim, Cavan. Longford and Roscommon. Tish Dunleavy plays the title role 'Moll' and she brings her own very unique humour and comedy to the part. The other characters are all played by a very talented cast under the direction of Frank Cadam.
A great nights entertainment is guaranteed and a very worthy cause will benefit from the night. Admission €10

Drumshanbo Enterprise Centre  

A part-time Beginners Computers Class (Fetac Level 3) & Improvers Computers Class (Fetac Level 4) will commence on the 20th of March at Drumshanbo Enterpirise Centre. SOS- Shave our Sean and Dawn! Best of Luck to Sean and Dawn!

On the 1st of April 2017 an event will take place in the Poor Scholar, Ballinamore. The McKeon Family and friends will take part in a head shave. This event will include many people but one of the main features on the night will involve Dawn’s dad Sean. The last time Sean was clean shaven was March 1970!   Also on the night Dawn, her sisters and some of her friends will shave their heads, cut it short and donate their hair. All funds will go to Cancer Research.  St. Patrick’s Day Parade: The parade will take place on Friday 17th March assembling at the Tesco car park.
