A tribute to Health Workers, neighbours and friends.

A deep and heartfelt thanks to all our brave and dedicated HEALTH WORKERS for without
them this pandemic would be unthinkable. Every day they put themselves on the frontline to
help us all survive.

The volunteers such as the list below and the thousands of neighbour and good people who
are ready to step up and look after people less able to look after themselves. I could make a
list a mile long of good and considerate behaviour from people around Ireland. There should
be a feeling of pride among us when we see the overwhelming generosity of people willing to
help and go that extra mile for our fellowman/women.

VICTIM ASSISTANCE

We are all overwhelmed by the Corona virus outbreak and we hope that you and
yours are all safe and healthy. Now more than ever we need to stay calm, be
resourceful, and do what we do best: focus on supporting each other. As an national
charity that offers “emotional” and “practical” support to all victims of crime and those
and their families that have experienced a “traumatic” incident, we want to reassure
all concerned that we at Victim Assistance are committed to continuing our services
to those that need us. Whilst some of our staff are working remotely, we can be
contacted though our NATIONAL HELPLINE at 1800 277 477, our office telephone
094 9000251 or by email at support@victimassistance.ie.  Our offices are manned
Monday-Friday 9.30am-5.30pm during these difficult times.  Remember – social
distancing doesn’t mean social isolation – we are here to help and support!
