Ballinamore Tourism and Fishing AGM

The Tourism AGM will be held on Wednesday March 25th at 8pm. All members are requested to attend. Venue is in the Tourism Office.

Men's Shed

Last Wednesday evening Shed members visited Drumlea Community Centre and enjoyed a pleasant evening with the Active Age group there. Michelle Fanning and Ciara Bohan from Leitrim Sports Partnership were on hand to conduct exercise sessions and to over-see games of Scooch. After a series of games it was the Ballinamore A team that came out on top, much to the annoyance of their B team. Our hosts, Drumreilly, hinted that they had let Ballinamore win, just to be sociable!! All were treated to tea/coffee and refreshments. Sincere thanks to the Drumreilly group.

Ciara Bohan will be in attendance at our meetings for the next four weeks and we thank Leitrim Sports Partnership for this very appropriate initiative.

Our Shed will participate in both the Fenagh and Ballinamore St Patrick's Day parades, unless a decision is made to cancel. A selection of items made by our Shed members will be on display. Thanks to President Noel Sweeney and Treasurer Paddy McGourty for spearheading the preparations. Some items made in conjunction with Lisnaskea Shed will also be on display,

Thursday12th we welcome the Phoenix Players Sligo and they are staging The Communication Cord by Brian Friel in the Confined section. Bringing the curtain down on this year's dramatics on and off the stage, is the play Closer by Patrick Marber and the Wexford Drama Group performing in the Open section on Friday 13th. Please note this play is suitable for over 18's only. Thank you all for your support.
