Division 3 League Final

A great win on Sunday for our division 3 lads who put in a fantastic performance on the field against St Marys, winning by a score of 3:17 to 4:09. Massive congratulations to the players and mentors on a great league campaign which will hopefully follow on into the championship.

Historical display

Seán Ó Súilleabháin and his team have recently completed a historical display of images in our club rooms which chart all of our successes over the years. There are some fantastic images and we would recommend all our followers to take a look over the coming weeks, special thanks to Sean and his team for all the hard work they have put into this fantastic display.

Senior League Match

A mixed week of results for the lads, first we had a good win over Melvin Gaels on Wednesday evening in Bundoran which we won by a score of 1:12 to 0:04 and which put us on top of the league, we then followed up with another tough game against St Mary’s at home, we unfortunately lost this match by a single point loosing  0:11 to 0:12 in a game we were seemingly in control of. The result still leaves us top of the league on 15 points level with Mohill, our next game is an away match on Saturday against Allen Gaels at 19:00.

MacDiarmada Gaels

MacDiarmuda Gaels Minors won a tough second  game of the championship against St Mary’s on Monday evening in Ballinamore. The lads put in a magnificent performance in warm conditions in front of a great crowd. There was some great football on display and the lads ran out deserving winners by a score of 4:11 to 3:08.

Team: Jason Beirne, Keelan Murphy, Eoin Shanley, Aaron McBrien, Euan McManus, Seamus Wisley, Luke Doherty, Senan Harte, Barry McWeeney, Danny McWeeney, Michael McKiernan, James Honeyman, Iarlaith O'Brien, Paul Moran, Conal Doyle, Eoin Hamill, Eoin Curran, Fiachra McGrath, Mark McCaffrey, Eoin Connaughton.

Wishing our u13 lads all the best in the championship which starts this Friday with an away match in Fenagh at 19:30.

Congratulations

There was a new amalgamation recently with Grainne Sharpley Ballinamore and Ciaran McCabe Kesh getting married to form the new MacDiarmada Gaels couple. We would like to wish them both well for the future.
